Inovace PPK GNSS senzoru Titan v posuzování zemětřesné kinematiky
Šugar, Danijel ; Ukas, Mladen
Within the sotware package Trimble Business Center ver. 5.90 (May 2023) was released a novel PPK GNSS processor named Titan. It utilizes all available GNSS constellations bringing improvement over the previous processor. CROPOS as the national permanent GNSS network of Croatia was modernized in summer of 2019 and since than it provides observations of all available GNSS constellations, namely, the GPS, GLONASS, Galielo and BeiDou. On March 22nd 2020, the wider area of Zagreb was hit by the M5.4 earthquake. The closest GNSS station to the epicenter (approx. 9 km) was the station ZAGR in Zagreb downtown and as such it was subject to earthquake shaking. Although the kinematic effects of that earthquake have already been assessed and examined, with this approach and novel PPK GNSS processor we are attempting to provide new insights into the earthquake kinematics involving observations from several CROPOS's GNSS stations in wider area around Zagreb.
Dynamic analysis of structure loaded seismic loads
Janošková, Lenka ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
In this diploma thesis the seismic load on two different models is solved – the first model is a beam hall and the second model is a multistory building. The calculation of seismic load was performed according to standard ČSN EN 1998-1 (Eurocode 8) using the response spectrum analysis and the method of equivalent static forces (substi-tute load). For the combination of seismic responses in different directions are used SRSS and CQC rules. Models and calculations were solved in a student’s version of program RFEM 4.10 (Ing. Software Dlubal, s.r.o.). The comparison of mentioned methods in each models, also the comparison of combinative rules in calculation and the final evaluation of seismic responses on both of models are the subject of this thesis.
Seismic activity measurement using fiber optic sensors
Vaněk, Stanislav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Vojtěch, Josef (advisor)
The aim of master's thesis is to get familiarized with the problems of measurement and analysis of seismic waves. Theoretical part deals with the description of seismic waves, especially their types, sources and properties. Attention was afterwards focused on the measurement systems of these waves, emphasis was placed on their principles and advantages. The practical part discusses methods of noise reduction and highlighting of significant events in measured data. At the end, individual methods are implemented into user-friendly graphical interface.
Dynamic analysis of structure loaded seismic loads
Šulerová, Zdeňka ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the calculation of response of reinforced concrete construction on the effect of seismic tension. Time and spectral analysis were made. They are mentioned as possible ways of calculation in EN 1998 - 1:2004 norm. Final figures of global deformations and stress on selected beam from the time and spectral analysis were firstly compared for the horizontal components of seismic stress affecting only in one direction. Subsequently comparison of time progress to combination of these effects mentioned in relevant norm was made. In the conclusion the results of used analysis are appraised.
Static and modal analysis of construction
Krzywoň, Filip ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis compares the behavior of different models of concrete tower structures influenced by earthquake load. There were several models made in Scia Engineer software and also one model for each tower for manual analysis. The results of modal analysis were further used along with Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance. The deformed models were compared with each other.
Seismic analysis of structure with residual modes
Včelný, Michal ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of using the residual shape with help of the structural analysis software SCIA Engineer in the calculation of seismic load. Residual shape will be used in combination with CQC and SRSS calculation method, including different numbers of own shapes and the oscillated mass. In the last step, the results will be compared with each other.
Modeling of accidental torsion and its effect on spectral analysis
Šulerová, Zdeňka ; Nevařil,, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the appraisal of concrete frame structures in seismic loadeffects. To calculate the simplified method will be used to support lateral forcesspecified in EN 1998-1:2004 - Design of structures for earthquake resistence. The calculation will be done by manual calculation and the calculation program RFEM. These alternative methods will be calculated loads and torques acting on the structure and subsequently compared. The main part of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the effects of the random distribution of mass, prescribed by the standard, and our chosen mass distribution, where we expect the maximum deformation.
Analysis of the structure for the effects of earthquakes
Švejcar, Martin ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This master thesis deals with analysis of a selected construction subjected to a seismic load. In the Dlubal RFEM programme, a basic model was created and analyzed with the spectral analysis using response spectra and with the time analysis using accelerograms from the database of the programme. The outcomes from these analyses were compared. Subsequently, the same calculations were performed on modified models and the results of the internal forces and deformations of the structure were compared with the outputs obtained on the original basic model.
Dynamic analysis of bridge construction
Kinclová, Radka ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is a dynamic analysis of a cable-stayed walkway. The RFEM structural analysis software is used for the calculation. Design principles of the structure are explained and analysis of the construction phases is then performed. The eigenmodes of the structure are calculated for various material combinations. The thesis examines the effects of moving loads and earthquake effects using several different methods. A comparison of the various loading effects on the structure and also the calculation methods is presented at the conclusion.
Seismic Design of Structural Steel Connections
Sotulář, Jiří ; Šabatka,, Lubomír (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the analysis and standard check of structural steel connections subjected to seismic loads. Analysis is based on a software solution and standard check is performed according to standard requirements and formulas. The first part deals with the theory of seismic load. There are described the general knowledges about the earthquake and the method of determining the effects of seismic loading on buildings according to the EN 1998-1. In the second part of the thesis is made design and check seismically loaded multi-storey steel building. Design is based on recommendations of the EN 1998-1 and some recommendations of research. In the third part is the analysis, verification and check of steel joints, which are contained in the structure designed in the second part of the thesis. On the basis results of analyses of indivudual connections are defined recommendations and requirements for the use and design structural steel connections subjected to seismic loads.
